Grenoside Green is an award winning public space located at the heart of the village of Grenoside, in the north-west of Sheffield.
With stunning views to the East and a range of carved stone artworks, a File Cutter's "stithee" and a Topograph, the Green is a focal point for young and old alike as well as hikers and cyclists passing through the village.
The Friends of Grenoside Green are a small friendly team of enthusiasts who monitor the ecology of the Green as well as undertaking maintenance and planting programmes. We work with children from the local Primary School using the Green as an outside classroom.
The focus for 2020 is to re-wild the Green and transform it into a bee and bug friendly environment.
